Guest Writer

I am not feeling very inspired this week and I hate to let a whole week go by without a post, so I'm asking for a guest writer to list a favorite quote and what it means to him or her.

My head is often filled with good things said by others, and now I draw a huge blank. When I'm back with my books, I'll pull out something, a juice bit like candy I forgot I was saving from Halloween.

I was waiting for the notification for your week 5 post, but must have missed it. (Who says time travel isn't possible? I think I do it all the time...)

so on to last week's post...

"I have come to believe over and over again that what is most important to me must be spoken, made verbal and shared, even at the risk of having it bruised or misunderstood."
-Audre Lourde

I chose this quote over another one because it's something that stirs something in me. I am still holding very tightly to my "treasures," and clenched fists cannot give nor can they receive. So, this quote I'm looking forward to being something that could have just as easily come from me.

Penny,

I'm trying to come up with a name for the black women at work project, (last name I had for it was S.A.S.S., but I don't like that name anymore).

My brain hurts from brainstorming. Does anything immdediately come to your mind? (Even an image...)
